DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Evendale’s 75th anniversary with a two-part reception: a curator talk in the historic school\, followed by live music\, food\, gallery commentary outdoors\, and awards ceremony for the juried exhibition Reflections Through Time. \nIn the upper art studio\, guests can enjoy light refreshments and solo guitar music while viewing the 75th Anniversary history exhibit. A curator talk at 1:30pm offers historical context on the exhibit and its connection to the 75th anniversary. Outdoors at the Evendale pool fence\, guests can enjoy food and live band music while viewing the juried photography exhibit. The awards ceremony takes place here at 2pm\, followed by an educational gallery walk\, where standout submissions are highlighted with commentary on composition\, technique\, and jury selection criteria. Guests are free to move between both locations throughout the reception. \nAdditional Information: The outdoor exhibit is largely accessible\, with approximately half of the pathway consisting of paved sidewalk; the remaining portion crosses grass. Please note that the Evendale Cultural Arts Center is currently undergoing renovation\, including the installation of an elevator to improve ADA accessibility\, which will not be completed by the event date.
