Australian artist Ian Strange will create new photographic and film works while completing an Artist in Residence program with FotoFocus at the Art Academy of Cincinnati. Australian artist Ian Strange will create new photographic and film works for the 2022 FotoFocus Biennial: World Record, organized by FotoFocus Artistic Director and Curator Kevin Moore. A series that could only be made in the time of Covid-19, Tina Gutierrez’s project titled Covid-19, Coronavirus Wearable Art Response Project allows participants to share their feelings toward the pandemic through clothing, costume, or other wearable art.

Twenty years of work from the renowned photographer, sculptor, and multimedia artist opens at Cincinnati Art Museum September 4, with a distinctly 2020 reimagining of interactive public programming.
