Lecture

Foundational to the development of FotoFocus, the Lecture and Visiting Artist Program is designed to expand the cultural dialogue and inspire conversations about the world through photography and film. The series originally began in 1996 as the the Lightborne Photography Lecture Series, which invited speakers including Shelby Lee Adams, Doug Aitken, Tina Barney, William Christenberry, Gregory Crewdson, Thomas Demand, Todd Hido, Barbara Kasten, Duane Michals, Laurie Simmons, and Hank Willis Thomas. The Lecture series continues to feature internationally-renowned photographers and filmmakers, most recently including Sky Hopinka, Roger Ross Williams, An-My Lê, and Matt Black. Watch Past Lecture.
