Art of the Chase

The chase can be defined in many ways, but is a nearly universal experience. Humans are always in pursuit of something, whether it be financial success, career ambitions, love, or abstract dreams. The chase can be as playful as a game of tag and as serious as daily survival. Photography itself is a chase—the pursuit of a vision or reality never quite captured, moments held forever in stasis. Art of the Chase asks the artists to express their interpretation of “the chase” from documentary, narrative, and conceptual photography perspectives.
