True Body Project: Time is a Circle

Created by six youth artists in collaboration with filmmaker Andrea Sisson, True Body Project: Time is a Circle is a multi-channel film reflecting on the nature of time, memory, and identity, inspired by Alan Lightman’s much-loved book, Einstein’s Dreams. Youth artists ages, 16–20, create this film experience over seven weeks as part of The Well’s True Body Project and in collaboration with ArtWorks/1001 Colors’ Youth Apprentice Artist program. These artists collaboratively ponder their own sense of time while creating all aspects of a multi-channel film experience focused on the cartography of place and belonging. This dynamic meeting of time and place gives a haunting and hopeful view of our world from today’s future artists and leaders.
